Clínica Evangélica Morava Humanitarian Documentary

The Story Behind the Rural Honduras Medical Clinic & Mission

D&M Productions secured a three-part humanitarian grant from The Rotary Club of Sturgeon Bay, Rotary District #6220 and the Moravian Church to travel to Ahuas, Honduras to document a work crew's activities and the medical clinic's operations at the Clínica Evangélica Morava.

Donating their time and talents, Dennis & Mary embarked on telling the stories of the clinic, and how they are critical to the region for medical services, filing the desperate need for feeding local children and building education programs to benefit the local indigenous population.

Their efforts produced a nine-part documentary series that follows the work crew and the clinic's activities for the week, including witnessing an emergency cesarean section section birth delivery.

The documentary series has been critical in spreading awareness for the clinic; their humanitarian work, medical and food supply needs, and to build additional support for the Moravian Church and Rotary Clubs that help fund the clinic.
